Brandon Museums
Located at the Brandon University, this natural history museum is a showcase of Canadian birds, mammals, geology and plants. With over 500 specimens, the museum is sure to spark anyone's interest in Canada's natural heritage. The museum is open from Monday to Friday or by appointment and admission is free.
Containing four flours of historical artifacts, this museum is located within the 1882 heritage home of Brandon's first mayor, Thomas Mayne Daly II. The house itself is an attraction and features oak staircase, brick fireplace and grand rooms.
Established in 1976, the Manitoba Agricultural Hall of Fame celebrates and recognizes those who have made a significant contribution to Manitoba agriculture.
Preserving the history of the pilots who trained and fought during the Second World War, the museum houses 13 original planes, photos and memorabilia from one of history's most turbulent anf violent times.
The Royal Canadian Artillery Museum features the largest collection of artillery related artifacts in Canada. It is home to Gregg Canadian Collection of CMVx, Warsaw pact, US and British self-propelled weapons and many Canadian Forces vehicles. Diaries and other war memorabilia, such as the original Roll Book for "B" Battery 1871, are also displayed.
