Brandon Parks & Gardens

The gradual development of the Brandon Riverbank has brought recreation and education together at the banks of the Assiniboine River. A 1995 revitalization project has expanded paved pathways and natural trails, with 17 km (11 mi) worth of educational signs along the way. "The Discoverer" offers ferry service across the river and recreational equipment rentals are available on the grounds. The Riverbank Discovery Centre is the heart of the park and the Provincial Field Office of Ducks Unlimited. A winter light display, skating oval and farmer's market are available seasonally.
